Professinal Speed Drop Down Complete Longboard Skateboard (Black) Review

I had a $60 longboard for a while and it wasent the best. I have had it for about 2 years and it couldent keep up with my friends boards. This board is awesome!! its fast good wheals trucks and berrings. It can turn good and is good down hill and on flat surfaces. This board I recomend getting. I waited for a bout 3 weeks for the board to come because UPS lost it so this compony sent a new one and it was worth the wait. But overall this board is amizing and who ever is reading this review should get it.

After reading many negative reviews on the original Phurtec, I almost didn't order the II jacket. Took the plunge and was well pleased as I wanted a warm/winter hiking jacket. The fit is true to size, I got the XL which is the size I normally wear in Columbia "active fit" clothing. I'm 5'7, 163 pounds athletic build with muscular upper arms. The XL jacket still has room for layering or a sweater. The fit in the shoulders/upper arms (where most of the negative comments were about on the original jacket) is fine. I am broad shouldered and bust 36DD. I would recommend this jacket for a person looking for more than a soft"shell". Can't wait 'til Winter to try it out in conditions. We live in Moab, Utah.

Saucony Women's Hurricane 15 Running Shoe,Silver/Green/Pink,11 M US Review

PRO's: wide toe box, no blisters, stable shoe, well constructed, support high arches, cute.
CONS's: reduced 8mm heel to toe drop, terrible thin laces, sand and dirt get in through the mesh, shoes causes me calf pain.

I have either ran in Saucony's or Mizuno's pretty much my whole running life through marathons and ironman races. When I progressed to a neutral running shoe, I went to lightweight Mizuno's, which I love, but they wear out very quickly. I was replacing them ever 3 months or so.

Fast forward 2 years, where life has got in the way, my running stopped and "a little" weight was gained. Well I can't imagine how many shoes I would go through being overweight in a pair of Mizuno's...plus I figured I was "starting over" with running. So hence, the reason for my purchase of these stability plus shoes.

The very first thing I noticed after I slipped them on was the lack of a "heel". Yes, Saucony in their redesign has eliminated the 12mm drop from all running shoes (as far as I can tell). These have a 8 mm drop which Saucony claims "you shouldn't notice". Well I do notice! So after major calf pain - working into shin pain - I purchased a pair of heel cups. Heel cups did lesson the pain somewhat.

Now I've been running in these shoes for 6 weeks (averaging 15-20 miles a week with my longest runs of 7-8 miles) and frankly I'm frustrated with them. I feel that I can never get a bounce in my step and my runs feel very flat like I'm trudging through mud. While I was at the mall today, I happened to see a pair a Mizuno's in my size on clearance so I quickly slipped them on. Wow, what a difference! I guess I'm going to just learn to replace my shoes often and hopefully loose more weight to make my shoes last longer. I will still wear these shoes for slooowww walking (BTW they hurt even for walking fast). On a positive note: the shoes are supportive for high arches and I feel that it keeps my foot from pronating and unfortunately, they seem like they will last forever.

I'm bummed - because they are really jazzy looking and fun.

Note: I was running "injury free" on old shoes for 6 weeks before I finally got new shoes. Calf pain started on day 1 of new shoes on a 2.5 mile run and it has never let up.

I hope taking the time to write this review will help assist someone in their quest for the perfect shoes...well at least until they change them on you with the next design.

Inov-8 F-lite 240 Shoe,Black/Lime,6 M US Review

I have been Crossfitting for 4 months now 5 days a week. The first 2 months, I wore my Asics running shoes and between all the rope climbs, box jumps, burpees, etc, they were falling apart. I decided to invest in a good pair of shoes specifically for Crossfit and settled on the Inov-8 F-lite 240. They have been by far the best training, running, and lifting shoe I have ever put on my feet! The 240 is lighter than my Asics and much more durable. The best part about the 240 for me was, there was no breaking the shoe in. They basically fit like a sock and are just as comfortable. I would recommend getting a half a size smaller than your normal training shoe. For example, I wear a size 13US in all tennis/training shoes (Nike and Asics), but I had to get a size 12.5US in the Inov-8. These shoes are definitely worth the $$$$!!!

This jacket is very fitted so you don't look like the Michelin Man in a white puffer jacket. When they say M is size 8 - 10, they mean a fitted 8 - 10. If you want to wear a heavier sweater consider sizing up. I chose this for an easy jacket for shopping or walks. It is warm but not stifling. I use in temps hovering around the freezing mark with a fine wool sweater and it works. I am always cold btw. I wanted a white puffer that was fitted and that I could throw in the washer because it is white. I would have preferred actual down instead of fill but in the end chose this one because of the fitted cut. I am satisfied with the choice.
