I am a serious runner. In the colder months I run with compression tights, but in the warmer weather I turned to leg compressors (I used Zensah) and was looking for a good pair of compression shorts. At first I tried to get away cheap by buying the Nike Pro Combat, but they were too short and also felt simply like a tight pair of underwear, so I returned them to REI. Then I saw these on sale at EMS for $64 and decided to try them. I absolutely love these. Here is why.

1. Yes, these are very expensive, but as other reviews note, they look great (no need to wear them under your regular running shorts) and fit great.

Note: I have a 34 inch waist but ordered a Large because I know from past experience that compression gear is tight in the waist. The Large fits perfectly.

2. These work great. Unlike less expensive products, these go down to a few inches above the knee and support all the muscle groups. I did a 6 mile run and was amazed not to feel the fatigue that I sometimes experience in those muscle groups. These also enabled me to run faster than normal.

3. These are well made and the material is very comfortable to wear. I barely knew I had them on while running. They absolutely do not restrict movement. They also breathe very well--I was not dripping wet despite running under humid conditions.

4. These stay perfectly in place during vigorous running and don't ride up.

Bottom line: If you are looking for well made compression shorts that will let you get the most out of your running, this product is it.

I'm about 125lbs and 5 feet tall and the extra small fit as expected. I do have to tug to get them on, but they stay up and are comfortable. There is a gusseted crotch so you don't have to wear underwear with them. I love them because I get so cold in the winter and they really keep my legs warm (not too warm though) during my outdoor walks / runs. The smell is acceptable and they are much better than the Delfin brand (I returned the Delfin).

VVV Gear Paratus 3 Day Operator's Pack (Black) Review

So I previously bought another 3V gear bag that I likes so much I bought this one! The other bag I own (the Outlaw) was a little too small for longer mult-day excursions and I wanted to get the same quality in a larger size. I initially bought this as a bail out bag (BOB) but now I use it much more often than I thought I would. I keep the side pockets and the cool detaching fanny-pack thing stocked with the essentials I use for any outdoor or survival excursion and then I change out the main compartment as needed. I was able to carry a small sleeping bag, a bivy, a change of clothes, water filter, back-packing stove, and plenty of the essentials (knife, lighter, compass, etc.) with a little room to spare.

It also comes with two cool morale patches. I like that I can have an awesome bag without some company's logo on it. I don't know if it is still the case but in the past the military wouldn't let logo items in basic training but I think this would pass muster just fine!

No regrets! I'd get it again, and I'd even pay twice what I did now that I've seen and felt the quality. But it!

This is currently my favorite piece of cycling clothing I use. It's long in the back and provides excellent thermal protection. I currently use it in conjunction with "Pearl Izumi Men's Elite Barrier Jacket" and it's been working out great so far. In the winter time I put on a extra t-shirt over and it keeps me plenty warm through my sub 0 �C 7km commute. The only negative thing I have to say is that it was a bit cumbersome to get out of it after a ride but after a few rides I got the hang of it.

Yes, these shoes do draw attention. I am so happy with "shoes" that allow me to run barefoot on grass and sand without worrying about stickers or glass. At last, very light weight shoes that allow your foot to move! My first pair were a size 38 but it didn't give me enough room for my toes to stretch out when I walked on the carpet, so I sent them back. A size 39 gives my toes all the room they need! I did not follow the advice on the shoe, I started jogging down my asphalt road as soon as I got the replacement pair in the mail. Next day my hips and knees told me to slow down and my calves said, "Yes, at last I'm working some of those other muscles!" They are keepers.

For my long runs, I have used the Asics DS-Trainer and GT 21XX series over the past 10 years and the Neo33 strikes a balance between the two. It is listed as being slightly lighter than the DS Trainer and I feel that it gives a bit more of a stable ride while not being as stiff as the GT. The midfoot to forefoot transition felt slightly jerky for the first few miles but smoothed out and my legs felt fresher after the run than in either of the other two shoes. This shoe is nowhere near a minimalist shoe like a Saucony Kinvara but I liked the Neo33 so much that I have already bought a second pair to put in rotation.

I just got this jacket for my birthday. It is super warm and cozy. I love the sleeves on it and the thumb holes to keep the sleeve down and keep cold air out. It is very soft. I have the sea salt color and it is beautiful. Be advised that the size runs a little small, I usually wear a medium but I like my jacket sleeves to come down over my hands a little so I got a large. Also it does have pull strings inside to let you tighten the bottom of the jacket to keep air from coming up into the jacket. It looks great and feels wonderful! I highly recommend it. I love the Columbia brand, their products are such high quality!
