Product Description

Subcompact V3 laser by LaserLyte is the company's most state-of-the-art, smallest and versatile rail mounted laser to date. Now half the size of the previous model, the Subcompact V3 needs less than ¾-inch of Picatinny rail space to easily mount onto even the smallest firearms. Constructed of T6 aluminum for extra strength and durability, this updated unit offers a smart, cost-effective auto-off feature. If left on for five minutes, the unit begins to display a unique flash for one minute, indicating to the user that the unit will automatically shut off soon. After one minute in flash mode the unit shuts itself off to extend battery life, prevent accidental activation and battery depletion. Press the unit's button at any time to reset this feature for five more minutes. The Subcompact V3 easily mounts with a hex drive crossbar screw and features windage adjustment, elevation adjustment and programmable constant on and pulse modes. Additionally, the unit is ideal for left- and -right handed shooters with two separate activation buttons located on the backside of the laser. Not only will the laser fit nicely on the smallest of sub-compact railed pistols, it works great on modern rifles as well. The Subcompact V3 laser is powered by four 377 batteries that provide five hours in constant on mode and ten hours in pulse mode of normal usage. Normal usage is defined as one minute on and one minute off. This test mimics actual usage where the unit is turned on and off and the battery is given time to automatically regenerate.

The 'Salomon Synapse CS WP's are both lightweight and sturdy, while providing exceptional traction. The kevlar drawstring laces make for a quick tie, and only add to the shoes stylish frame. Initially, I was worried about the fit, as most reviews say it is too narrow.

Upon arrival, I could feel that it was kind of squeezing my mid foot from both sides.

Used it on a short hike with a bit of caving just to force the issue, and now, it's perfect.

Grip is fantastic even on smooth wet rock.

When hiking, I prefer to "feel" the terrain with my feet. The soles on these are a bit too thick/and soft for that. As road to trail shoes, these are perfect.

Those with exceptionally wide feet may have to reconsider though.

A fortyish female, 110 lbs, 5'2", run 25 miles a week currently. I have very high arches. My feet are narrow at the heel and arch but my toes fan out. Because of this, I need a generous tow box. I do not pronate at all and buy neutral+ shoes.

I had been running in Asics, they were great shoes but did not fit my feet properly. I purchased the Saucony shoes in order to correct toe problems I was having.

I have put 175 miles on my Saucony ProGrid Triumph 7 so I thought I had enough info to give a report. I bought these shoes along with a pair of Mizuno Wave Creation 11 which I alternate runs in. I also have a report on the Mizunos which I have put 150 miles on.

I wear a size 6 in non running shoes. I bought a size 6 1/2. I wish I had bought a size 7, or tried the 6 � in a wide width. The shoes fit well but I wish they were just a tad bigger. I wear very thin socks while running, if I wore thicker socks, they would be way too tight. If I buy another pair I will either get the size 7 or the 6 � in wide width depending on which feels roomier to me. My toe problem has healed and has not recurred. I no longer tape my toes as I had previously.

The two big selling points of this shoe are:
1) The arch lock system. I have high arches...VERY high. These shoes are awesome in supporting my arches. They just clamp up to them and support the dog mess out of them. My arches never tire during a run....NEVER.
2) The big toe box. The toe room is generous. It is a little smaller than the Nike Airs I have run in the past, but is adequate. I think the nice snug fit of the arch lock makes the toe box SEEM bigger to me than it is. I feel like my arches are so well supported and then when you get past the mid foot...BOOM it just opens up really wide for my fanning toes. I really like the feel of that!

I do have to be extra careful to not lace and tie these too tight. I had a similar issue with the Mizuno Wace Creation 11, but it is much more important to NOT tie too tight in these. At one point I irritated the inside on my pinky toe on one foot. During along run I ran the last 2 miles in a lot pain from pressure on the outside of my foot. The next day I laced up loose and it fixed my problem. (I have a habit of really lacing tight!!) This is one reason why I think I really need a � size larger than I have now. Tying loose is not a problem, I still have support and have not created a hot spot or blister, but even with thin socks I wish I had just a tad more room. I ran once with thicker socks on and that was NOT going to work. I blame this on me, not the shoe; I should have a larger size. It is not a problem for me to get 400 miles out of the shoe tying loose.

While running these shoes are very comfortable. They have a lot of cushioning and support. I do not feel the road much in these shoes due to the outstanding cushioning. On some days, that is just what I need. They do such a great job of arch support I could run a longer distance closer to my recovery day. Because of the cushioning, they do feel a bit sluggish to me. I do not feel I get as much power pushing off; like something is holding me back. They are still great running shoes, but I would not race in these or if I was doing a run trying to reach a certain time, I would wear my Mizunos instead (see my review of the Mizuno Wave Creation 11) I enjoy wearing these shoes on my easy long runs (7.5-8.5 miles currently) because they support and cushion so well. If I am running a long run at 10K pace, I go with the Mizuno Wave Creation for a lighter, less sluggish feel.
All in all these shoes are great for me. I use them for easy runs or runs where I am just feeling a little banged up and want more TLC on my feet due to the awesome cushioning they provide and arch support. I would not race in these shoes unless I had to. They are very comfortable and I do run good times in them, but they are heavier than the Mizuno Wave Creation 11.

I am the type of runner who needs a shoe to do easy training runs in where my feet and knees are pampered and another shoe where I can feel the road and haul it on some runs. The Saucony ProGrid are wonderful for my pamper days. They are fun to run in, support awesome in the arch and cushion my feet. They also have a durable tread that is good on slick roads but do not pick up annoying rocks in them.
I would buy these shoes again, but I plan to try on a � size larger and wide width first. Also, I may try a couple of other shoes just to see. I am happy with my purchase and have had 175 great miles so far, I know I will get 400 to 500 out of these shoes! Well worth the money.

This CB was installed in my 2012 JK Unlimited in a Tuffy single-compartment overhead console! This is a sleek unit, with tons of "new age" technology, such as LCD displays with useful calibration tools built right in for SWR calibration and Antenna tuning!! It has a built in PA option, which of course is always fun to have :) The unit seems to be more powerful than some Cobra competition out there with out pulsing around 5W instead of the industry standard 4W. Couple this with a FireStik antenna, and you're ready to trail ride with ease while keeping in communication with the group! Highly recommended!!

Salomon Men's Sense Mantra Trail Running Shoe,Asphalt,11 M US Review

Salomon has nailed it with this one. A lightweight shoe with a super comfortable upper--it grips well on dry to moist trails, and breathes very well. I am considering this shoe to tackle my next 50km mountain race. This is a transition shoe at 6mm offset--offering enough protection from rocks and roots in a firm but flexible platform. I have used the New Balance MT110 and love the shoe, but at 4mm offset and very little cushioning, my Achilles' get sore.

The Sense Mantra is no minimalist shoe, definitely not an NB MT 110. Nor is it as heavy and clunky as the Salomon Crossmax, XT Wings 2, or the Speedcross. The Sense Mantra is great summer/ shoulder season shoe that will offer protection for trail distance training and racing if you like some more cushion under your feet than the Salomon Sense or other minimal offerings. I normally wear a 14 in Salomon as I find their shoes fit small. In other brands such as NB and Asics I am a 13. The 13 in this shoe is a great fit. I will be buying another pair when these are toast.

I'll admit that this bag was a little bit smaller than I expected when I received it. However, I like it quite nicely. I was worried that my clubs would jam, but I don't have an issue with that.
