Shimano 2014 Men's Club Recreation Road Cycling Shoes - SH-R088L (Black - 42) Review

I bought the Shimano wide cycling shoes to fit feet that have widened over the years due to bunions. My once 9-C feet are now 11-4Es! These size 45 shoes, though only labeled E, fit well with the Velcro straps loosened slightly, and my feet have stopped hurting after I ride. The cleats fit nicely into my 6-year-old Shimano SPD pedals and click out smartly. My only complaint is that I had to pay an extra $26 to buy and have the base with side rails installed between the cleat and the sole to make walking safer and the cleat more stable when riding. I recommend this part (it's shown on the direction sheet) and believe this should be part of the shoe as sold, as it was on my older Shimano mountain bike shoes. Perhaps this configuration is standard on road shoes, but it seems to be just another way to make more money when you already have to add about $22 for the cleats. At least it should be advertised as a needed extra at the point of sale.

Shimano SH-WR35 Road Cycling Shoe - Women's Size 40 Color White Review

After spinning several times a week for 10 months, i decided to break down and get a pair of spin shoes. The only thing that had really been holding me back before was the price, but that's why we all love Amazon right? This shoe is very comfortable and provides excellent support.

Sizing: My only suggestion before buying this shoe is to look up the Shimano shoe sizing. The European shoe sizes differ alot from US sizes. I wear an 8.5 and ordered size 41. The 41 is a bit big but I think the 40 would be too small.

Putting the cleats on: You have to buy the SPD cleats separately. Just a bit of advice: when you put the cleats on, make sure you put then on really really tight! I watched a youtube video on how to install and they said not to tighten them too much. I took that advice and the cleat came off on the bike pedal when i went to unclip. Learned the hard way!

I bought this item for my daughter for her college dorm and it was the best 90.00 I spent, she is able to lock up her laptop, ipod and other items when she leaves her dorm and doesn't have to worry, her other room mates hide their purses under their pillows. She states she so glad she has it since people are in and out of the room with friends. I also bought the lock to anchor the box to the heavy furniture so someone wont walk out with the whole 37lb box. If someone wants to steal something they will but at least with the lock it will slow them down quite a bit. The box has a digital combination that you can set to a four digit code or you can open it with a key. The key whole has a cover over it so you don't know it has a key lock. Manduka eKO 5mm Yoga Mat, Brilliant Review

As a background, I have been doing yoga for more than 15 years and have used many different mats, both personal and studio mats. I am spoiled by the Manduka Black Mat, which for me is the best there is. I do different styles of yoga, Iyengar and Vinyasa mostly. I bought the Eko mat hoping it would be a good light weight alternative to hauling the Black Mat to class. Unfortunately, it is nearly useless. Yes, there is the smell, which I know goes away, I have another rubber mat (Jade) which had that smell but no longer does,. The Jade is also far superior to the Eko for practice, btw. My main complaint is although the Eko mat is touted to be sticky, it only feels sticky and in actual use I find my hands creeping forward in down dog (I am at least an upper intermediate yoga student and do not have this problem with any other mat.)I find this mat to cause a sweat to form under my feet, which makes them slip. I have washed the mat to the manufacturer's specifications, let it dry indoors - but if has gotten worse, not better. I am disappointed and will have to find another alternative. Manduka makes a great mat, but I really don't like the Eko - other than the obvious green factor. The mat also has a hardness to it that is unlike anything I have ever used, and it does not feel welcoming.

I ordered this mask because I was sick of using cheaper masks that fog up constantly while trying to play. Almost all the reviews I read on it were positive, and it being one of the more high end masks I thought it would be a worthy buy. For the most part, it was. The mask is incredibly comfortable, and for the first couple hours of playing in the woods it didn't fog up at all. Then it started to fog a little bit and wouldn't stop fogging for the rest of the day. When I was looking for a mask, this is all I really care about.
