I bought a pair of these ~4 months ago for running, and about a week and a half ago one of the tubes broke halfway off. Now anytime I step just right or turn my foot a bit the tube grabs the ground and gets pushed under and it feels like there's a rock under my shoe. I've owned Adidas shoes forever and never had a problem with them under a year, and I bought these because I liked they way they looked and the supposed running advantage. $80 and 4 months later the shoes are broken. I tried contacting K Swiss about the issue and they haven't done anything. I'm very disappointed and I assumed K Swiss was higher quality than this. I probably won't buy another pair and will either go back to Adidas or try out something else for my next pair of running shoes. I can't recommend any pair of running shoes whose quality deteriorates this quickly.Edit 09/09/2012:
K-Swiss replaced the previously defective pair, and so far the new shoes have had no problem (though it hasn't been ~4 months yet). They seem great for running so far, I especially like the ventilating material this new pair has that the previous pair didn't, it's a much lighter mesh on top and keeps the feet pretty cool.
