The specialized Asics High Abrasion Resistance Rubber is not as long lasting on the GT2000's as my last pair of ASICS. It was half gone after 40 miles of street running, I had to switch to trails to make these last. After 400 miles I would have to say the arch support is suspect and the forefoot cushioning allows you to feel every rock. I have worn Asics for 27 years, the GT 2000 is not up to their standards and made me seriously look at other brands of shoes. Although I'll probably just go back to ol' trusty... link below.
