These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I have serious plantar fasciatis, caused by flat feet and over pronation issues. I like shoes that are soft, and have a more declined rear heal, versus one that props your heel up. These definitely do this. The shoes are also very light. My previous pair of asics were a model specific to plantar fascia issues, but they were much more bulky. Those also worked great, but I find these softer, yet still supportive. And the Gel heel is not a gimmick, it really does lesson the impact of workouts. I am doing P90 x and found the Gel heel really useful, and better than my previous pair of asics.

When I find a shoe I like, I order more than one. I got two pairs of these for the price of one pair of the plantar fascia models sold by asics.

Well I am now 1 year into my shoes and still love them. So here is a more complete review:

Function: 5 stars-quality shoe. I give mine a beating at the gym, to work walking and on my boat all summer. They are still holding up well. I have washed them a couple times and still they hold up. Very impressed
Value for money: 5+++ stars. Reasonable price point on Amazon around $60 bucks for an above average quality shoe
Style: 5+++ I love red shoes, these stand out-though they don't match everything you might wear!
Would I recommend: 5 not a question

Notes: Even with Plantar Fasciatis I have not had a relapse while these shoes are on my feet.
