I use these in conjuction with the matching top for athletic bicycle riding. These things (medium size) REALLY stretch out to cover my whole leg and I'm 6'1". They don't stick to my skin because of the lining, which is nice when it's time to remove them after riding. They are VERY warm, so beware that you want to use these in temperatures below 65 degrees (even 65 is pushing it); I've worn them in 49 degrees with only a hint of chill at startup. Once you get moving in them, they prove their thermal abilities quite well.

Note: the groin is not pocketed or contoured, so you might want to consider wearing something to keep you (ehem) "stationary", as the tightness of the garment tends to make them ride down a bit if you're not sitting which allows for too much room in the groin area.
