After getting quite a bit of guff from my family about blows to the head and being knocked out during matches... I reluctantly gave in and purchased this scrum cap. I utilized the measurements and ordered a small (I am a 5'4" woman). However, what I did not take into enough account was the ponytail created from my shoulder length hair. Therefore, I needed to switch out for a medium. Ladies, make sure to take this into account before ordering. Perhaps add a size based on your hair.
Other than the hair issue, I found that this is as comfortable as a scrum cap could possibly be. It's ugly, and it's supposed to be. Nobody tries to make a fashion statement with a scrum cap...... hopefully......
Several teammates have been convinced to purchase a scrum cap as well, and from what I have seen, going with a Canterbury quality product is worth the money that it requires out front.
