I had to return these because of the fit issue. I typically wear between an 8 and an 8.5, since I already own a pair of Asics running shoes in an 8.5 I ordered these cross trainers in the same size. Unfortunately, the 8.5 felt much too short.

I can't say how these wear over time (since I returned them due to sizing), but I did like the look of the shoe (seems true to the photo, I ordered the orange and purple) and was very impressed with the excellent ankle support, especially for a low cut shoe.

They were nicely lightweight for working out, but still provide stability. I would say the arch support fell between moderate and excellent. (I have high arches). These are an appropriate compromise between being rigid and ultra supportive and being very flexible, but not supportive.

All in all nice little trainers, sizing didn't work for me. I'm not ordering the 9 because I'm afraid they'll be too large. The width felt good to me in the 8.5 even though they were too short. I have average, but slightly narrow feet, if your feet are on the wide side these may not be the best for you.
