Utilizing a built in dusk til dawn sensor the light can be self powered for several nights by either 4 C batteries (not included) or by using the built in auxiliary power jack with included power cord for attaching to a 6 or 12 volt feeder battery or even a full size car or marine battery to power the 24 special green LED's that will not spook game! This light will automatically come on at dark and turn back off at sunrise. Quickly and easily attaches in one of three ways: (1) Attach magnetically to your feeer barrel or control unit, (2) Hang with the 3 included quick disconnect clamps to your feeder's varmint cage, tree limb, etc, (3) Permanently mount it with the 3 included self tapping screws. I bought this product after doing a lot of research. I would buy again. Here is a video of our set up on the very first night after installation. We shot a hog on the first night ! Also, on the 1st night deer continued to visit the protein feeder and still do...wildlife is not effected. Again, everything as advertised. [....]

We have a high fenced ranch and do not have huge numbers of hogs. But we still have to eradicate the ones we have because of how fast they multiply. They have caused a lot of damage to our property over the years. I have my Kill light hooked up to a 5 Watt solar panel to a 12v deer feeder battery that I picked up from Amazon. The light as been operating from dusk until dawn for over a month with no issues. The light has a built in dusk to dawn sensor.

UPDATE: June 10, 2013. We have killed a lot of hogs under this light. It is still on the original 12v deer feeder battery for about 1 year and being recharged every day by a 5 watts solar panel. It runs all night. Works like a charm. I have put 2 more out...our hunters love them.
