This clay pigeon thrower is the best design I've ever seen. I can easily load and launch this thrower by myself, so that I don't have to arrange for someone else to 'attend' while I enjoy shotgun practice. The thrower is loaded and cocked without any tension on the spring. This makes it safe to leave, even with small kids around. It's not sitting there waiting to thwack someone. It is very adjustable for angle of trajectory or height, and is entertaining to create new flight paths. I don't really use the screw and knob adjustments, I just use several 1x6 board scraps to place under one leg or the other.

My nephew who lost his right arm while serving in Iraq, can even use this thrower. That should be a testimony unto itself!
