After my trusted old Asics Squash shoes fell apart it was time to get something up-to-date and with removable insoles etc. I like the Asics brand in general as they fit me well and usually last long. Given I use a lot of Asics for running as well (full and half marathons w/ GT-2140/2150) I decided to look what Asics has in stock for Squash these days. This one seemed to be one of the newer models around and had a few good reviews from other "racket players" as well (not just Volleyball), so I gave it a shot.
After about 10 Squash evenings with the new shoes (all round-robins with 3-4 games) I am totally pleased with them. Great fit, good support but vents nicely so the feet are not soaked in sweat (with sports socks). Excellent grip on the court, while still enabling maneuverability. They don't just look "fast", they really enable "quick feet". ;-) Squash level around 3.5 (C/C+). Still look like new as well. Now I see quite a few other players wearing them as well. Great buy!
