my rating isn't relative to it being a raincoat but to the claims (that it and all modern rainwear make) that it is breathable. I wore it as a regular coat while being somewhat active and ended up sweating more than usual with the moisture collecting on the inside surface in the form of droplets. I'm not surprised, just disappointed with myself for believing the claims. I'm sure it will make a good raincoat and will save it for that. I like the cut and color and find the fit, as others have mentioned, runs small. I normally wear large, and this extra large allows for a thin mid layer.
