I'm no professional but i do hit my heavy bag at least 1-2 hours a day and a little bit of pad work here and there. When i first tried these on it was almost unbearable to keep them on because they were so tight on my hands and my hands are maybe a tad bit smaller than an average grown male. I thought about returning them immediately until i started breaking them in for about 15 minutes. They really break in perfectly to be completely fitted to your hand without any extra room for your hand to shift around. My heavy bag gets really stiff towards the bottom and the center so it would even hurt to hit with my 16 oz gel gloves. But with these 10 oz. gloves i can throw my strongest hooks towards the center without feeling a thing and the leather really gives it a nice snap when you land with a clean strike. The dual wrist support works very well although i wish it was a little more secure for my purposes since i had previously broken my right wrist. I'm not sure how these gloves compare to other high-end gloves because this is my first expensive pair. I would have liked to pay a little less than 90$ but i can't complain because i am 100% satisfied with the performance and quality of these gloves. Also they look and feel great would give it a 4.5 stars if that were an option.
