At 320g, it's one of the lightest out there. The Volt's 22 vents direct air into the helmet, over the head and out the back to keep airflow constant, just like riding sans bucket. The carbon fiber Fusion In-Mold Microshell adds carbon fiber strength to the internally reinforced EPS foam for greater durability. Cam-lock Levers make for quick strap adjustment.None of this matters if the helmet doesn't fit. The volt is a solid helmet with abundant venting. Helmet adjustments are a snap when going from summer to fall (if you wear a head warmer). The down side to the helmets are two fold. As compared to other road bike helmet manufacturers, the Volt is a little heavy. Additionally, padding is sparse on this helmet and, depending on your head shape, you may find a contact point on the crown of your head that doesn't include any padding. Otherwise, this is a well ventilated helmet with many adjustments to fit most any head size.
