These wedges are designed by Roger Cleveland himself (founder of Cleveland gold) and are incredible in so many ways. Aesthetically these wedges are absolutely gorgeous and inspire confidence.

These wedges are designed for the aggressive player. Low bounce and no offset make these a low handicapper's dream.

My favorite feature is the versatility of the wedge. The blended C-grind of the sole allows you to hit shots you otherwise would be unable to hit. The blended C-grind for those of you unaware, reduces part of the sole, the bounce angle is in turn reduced when the clubface is open; allowing you to hit aggressive chip shots without fear of hitting one thin. I have played many wedges, and these are the first ones I can hit flop shots with without hitting them thin.

These wedges feature low bounce. They are great for firm conditions and tight lies. I haven't had a chance to play with them in wet conditions, but I'm sure they would perform just fine.

Callaway forged wedges feature the new tour grooves that conform to the USGA. I was worried that I would loose spin compared to my previous wedges that feature the now outlawed grooves. To my surprise I actually spin these more! Callaway has increased the number of grooves from about 15 to 21. The added grooves increase spin and don't shred your golfball like the old ones did. My golfballs now last a lot longer and spin just as well.

Finally, these wedges are forged, they have an incredible feel to them. I have never hit so many crisp shots 110 yards and in ( I have a 56 and a 60 degree). For a forged club, they are actually quite forgiving.

If you are a low-handicaper looking for new wedges look no further. If you are a high-handicaper you may want to look for something more forgiving. You need to be a good ball striker to hit these, you need to be able to hit the ball first then the ground. The leading edge is very sharp on these bad boys so if you hit the ground first you will hit a lot of chunks.
