This is probably Asics's worst shoes ever produced. I am a huge fan of DS trainer but wanted something for road to trail application. I initially got the FujiRacer, which was awesome shoes except the sole's drain hole turned out to be the weakest point of getting tree branch and rocks penetrating my food (ouch!) I figured the Fuji Trainer solves the problem...well it was dead wrong. The Fuji trainer is nothing like Fuji Racer. Completely different shoes, period. They are way bigger, super wide (good for 4E runner like me), but completely lacking any upper support whatsoever! They felt very wobbly and just not feeling right as soon as they are on. Never mind hitting the trail / road!I'm waiting for asics to come up with next gen, because the concept isn't bad, just poorly executed on this pair...
