The SOG Specialty Knives & Tools SE37-K Seal Team Elite builds on SOG’s battle proven SEAL knife series by featuring a longer cutting edge along with a racy new blade shape, deeper finger grooves, extended tang and an added spine rasp for notching. Made of AUS-8 steel with an attractive black TiNi finish, the 7-inch partially serrated, fixed blade has a clip point shape that delivers a quicker and deeper puncture, sharpens easily and makes quick work of any task. The ergonomically contoured and well-balanced handle has a black finish and is made of high strength, abrasion and impact resistant glass-reinforced nylon to fit comfortably in your hand. SOG's unique cryogenic heat treatment process results in an overall increase in toughness and heightened wear-resistance. The knife includes a lanyard hole at the base of the handle and a nylon lanyard for convenience. The SOG Seal Team Elite was my first SOG knife and In 1 day SOG had completely earned my trust and respect as a top knife company.

Pros:
Titanium Nitride (TiNi) coating makes the stainless steel even more waterproof
Extreme heat treatment for the blade
Hard water resistant sheath
Exposed tang at the bottom of the blade that makes a useful strike for firesteels or hammer
Ribbed back useful for notching
Ribbed back bites into thumbs well and makes great jimping
Ultra durable Zytel handle
Extremely large cutting surface
Sharp serrations that cut with ease
Weighted perfectly

Cons:
Price, this knife was nearly 2x more expensive than my Kabar
The serrations are a little long
The handle is rough on your hands for normal people, but I love the extra traction

Although I don't know how durable this knife is, I can say that this is a great knife and I'd gladly take it with me to all corners of the earth.
